ULYSSES TOURS’ LUXURY LIMOUSINE

We have catered for the luxury market with a Mercedes-Benz C-class and Volvo S40 in our fleet, but have added a 1991 Mercedes-Benz S-class limousine to our fleet.

The air-conditioned limousine can seat 8 passengers and is fitted with a DVD / Radio system, a small bar counter, glasses and a champagne holder. The passengers are separated from the driver with a tinted window, ensuring

total privacy.

HOW DOES IT WORK: WHAT DO YOU NEED TO KNOW?

You can either book a one-way transfer that will take you from point A to B at a certain time or book the limo for a certain number of hours (minimum 4 hours); the limo will then be at your disposal for this fixed period.
We basically only provide the limousine with petrol and a driver. What you do on the limo, the music, refreshments and the route to be travelled is for your own arrangements.
Due to the length of the limo and the height from the ground, the limo can’t travel on dirt roads, roads with high bumps or up or down steep roads (especially house entrances).
You can stop where you want to on the flexible option. Any visits to restaurants or bars are however for your own arrangements.
All drinks (including bottled water, champagne and soft drinks) are excluded from our prices and are for your own account and arrangement.
NO SMOKING is allowed on the limousine.
There is not a luggage compartment and a trailer is not available for excess luggage.

HOW DO YOU BOOK THE LIMO?

Decide on a date and contact the Ulysses Tours’ office (08 22 33 33 20) to find out if the limo is available on that date. We do not take provisional reservations – first come first served.
Then complete the form as below and fax it to our office at 012 653 4609 together with a 50% deposit of the total cost. This deposit is non-refundable. Should you want to cancel or move the date, a new booking and deposit will have to be made. BANKING DETAILS: Ulysses Tours, ABSA Bank Menlyn Square (520-345), cheque account: 3490 170056.
The balance is due 3 weeks before the planned trip.
Please insist on a booking number from the Ulysses Tours office.
A R1000 breakage / “extra time” deposit is also payable. This is refundable after the trip (within a maximum of 2 weeks), should there be no damage to the limo and if we dropped you at your final destination on the booked time.

Why? People do strange things on our limo when alcohol is involved and people enjoy the trip so much sometimes that they stay longer on the limo than planned.

ULYSSES TOURS’ LUXURY LIMOUSINE: BOOKING FORM

1. All passengers enter the limousine entirely so at their own risk.

2. Ulysses Tours & Safaris cc carries passenger liability, but we strongly advise tourists/passengers to take out adequate travel insurance to cover personal accidents, medical expenses and loss of belongings.

3. While Ulysses Tours & Safaris cc, their employees, and/or agents will take every care against such contingencies, they cannot be held responsible for, and shall be exempt from any liability for any loss, damage or injury to any person and/or his/her luggage or personal belongings.

4. In the unfortunate situation of a breakdown we will refund clients (or offer a free of charge postponement), should such breakdown occur in the first half of the excursion. Should the breakdown occur in the second half of your excursion, alternative transport will be provided but no refund will be given.

5. The driver has instructions to return on the mutually agreed time and will unfortunately not be able to wait for passengers not pitching after visits to sites.

6. Broken glasses are charged at R30 per glass.

7. Any damage to the limousine for the amount of more than R1000, will be for the account of the undersigned.

8. Please ensure that all personal items are removed from the limousine after the excursion. We do not accept any responsibility for any items left behind.

1. Transport and tours will be limited during the World Cup months. Rates and availability can only be confirmed at time of reservation.

2. There is a surcharge of 10% applicable on all transport requirements between the hours of 23:00 – 06:00.

3. Due to the unpredictable nature of the petrol and diesel prices in South Africa, these rates are provisional and we hold the right to change them without prior or written notice.

4. Should a transfer be confirmed for a future date with a 50% deposit, we will honour the rate as quoted when booked.

5. Prices (quoted in ZAR) are subject to alteration without prior notice.

6. Please note that a cancellation fee of 100% of the total price applies for day tours and transfers cancelled less than 24 hours and to overnight tours cancelled less than 7 days before departure.

7. All bookings (and specified vehicles) are subject to availability at time of reservation.

8. Quoted prices include agent’s commission (VAT included).

9. We reserve the right to arrange for passengers to be taken on by an associate company running the same or a similar tour or service, should circumstances require it.

10. We accept all major credit cards.

11. WAITING TIME:

· We do not charge waiting time for delayed flights

· We do not charge waiting time for the first 30 minutes’ waiting.
