Among them, the Kruger National Park is world renowned, as are several of the luxurious private reserves on its western boundary. The Kruger Park was established in 1898 to protect wildlife and covers an area of 2 million hectares. Truly the flagship of the South African national parks, Kruger is home to an impressive number of species: 336 trees, 49 fish, 34 amphibians, 114 reptiles, 507 birds and 147 mammals. Apart from the irresistible magnet of this wildlife mecca, some spectacular scenery can be viewed in the mountainous area known as the Panorama Route, en route to the Kruger Park.

1. Kruger National Park Packages

wo – to five – day packages are available. On these tours a Ulysses Tours tour guide accompanies the
guests for the duration of the tour. Sightseeing and game drives are conducted with the tour guide in a
Ulysses vehicle. On the three-day package, both nights are spent in the Kruger National Park and on the four-day package, you spend one night on the scenic Panorama Route with its waterfalls, forests and Gold Rush towns and two nights in the Kruger National Park. On the five-day package you spend two nights on the Panorama Route and two nights in the Kruger National Park.
