Itinerary – 4 Day Tour: Kruger Park & Panorama Route

We collect you from your doorstep and depart for Mpumalanga Province formerly known as the Eastern Transvaal. On our way to the first stop, in the trout-fishing village of Dullstroom, we travel through Witbank and Middelburg to Belfast where we leave the highway. After Lydenburg, we go down the escarpment of the Drakensberg mountain range.
We spend the afternoon in this scenic region with its waterfalls, lookout points and picturesque villages. We visit the historical mining town of Pilgrim’s Rest, Bourke’s Luck Potholes, the Three Rondavels and the Blyde River Canyon. You will also have the opportunity to visit the newly built Graskop Gorge for an unforgettable journey into the heart of a pristine indigenous forest (the entrance fee to the viewpoint and premises is included, but the ticket for the lift is for your own account). Overnight in Graskop / White River / Hazyview or Blydepoort.

We leave after breakfast for the Kruger Park and spend the day in this world-renowned reserve. We check in at a rest camp (Skukuza / Lower Sabie / Satara or similar) in the late afternoon and have dinner in the camp’s restaurant. Accommodation is in thatched rondavels (chalets / bungalows), all with private en-suite bathroom facilities and air-conditioning.

Another day to try and spot the elusive Big Five (lion, leopard, buffalo, elephant and rhino). We dine and stay overnight in a rest camp. A night drive on an open vehicle with a National Park‟s Board ranger is optional (but very exciting).

After breakfast we go on one more game drive before leaving the park and then head for the Escarpment again around noon. Shopping and sightseeing are on the menu before heading back to Pretoria / Johannesburg. We will be back at around 18:00.
INCLUDED: Accommodation, dinner, breakfast, entrance fees, daily conservation levy in Kruger Park, guided transport and all day game drives.
